My name is Yurii, and the journey of EcoSun Wash began long before the company was ever created.

I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I first gained experience working with solar energy systems. After moving to the United States, I continued my career in the solar field by joining a Maryland-based solar installation company. I started at the very bottom — as a helper — learning everything I could about roofing safety, wiring, mounting systems, electrical codes, troubleshooting, and customer service.

Through dedication and hard work, I earned my way up to lead installer, and later became an electrician, taking responsibility for complex residential and commercial solar projects across the DMV area.

This experience taught me one important truth:
most solar companies install solar panels — but they do not clean, inspect, or maintain them.

One day, a homeowner asked me a simple question that changed everything:

“Does your company clean solar panels?”

The answer was no.

That moment made me realize that homeowners had nowhere to go for proper solar maintenance. Dirty panels, debris, and animals nesting under solar arrays were silently reducing energy production and damaging systems — costing people energy and money every year.

After researching the market, I discovered that in Maryland and nearby areas, very few companies offered professional solar cleaning, inspections, or animal-proofing, despite the growing number of solar installations.

I decided to step up and fill that gap.

I completed specialized training, passed safety and maintenance certifications, and received a professional license from the PVA Licensing Board.

That is how EcoSun Wash was born — a company built on real solar experience, honesty, and genuine care for every homeowner we serve.

Today, in addition to professional solar panel cleaning, EcoSun Wash also provides solar system services, including inspections, preventative maintenance, animal-proofing, free thermal camera scans during cleaning, and solar panel removal & reinstallation when needed.
